Location. The Hotel Bel3 is located on a hillside overlooking Palermo, on the island of Sicily, Italy, 5.5 kilometres from the town centre. Monreale cathedral is ten kilometres away, as are the beaches of Mondello.
Hotel Features. The Hotel Bel3 is a modern hotel situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of Palermo, with panoramic views over the city and across to the sea. The hotel offers an outdoor pool with a sun terrace. Other amenities include limited hours room service, a 24 hour front desk and complimentary parking.
The Bel3 restaurant, I Capricci di Christian, features colourful, contemporary furniture and subtle lighting and opens out onto a terrace offering panoramic views. The menu offers traditional Sicilian and Italian dishes for lunch and dinner, with vegetarian and children's options available. Drinks are served in the hotel's lounge bar, which also features a billiards table. A complimentary continental buffet breakfast is offered every morning.
The hotel features a children's playground.
Guestrooms. There are 67 guestrooms built over seven floors at Hotel Bel3. All open out onto balconies and are decorated in pale shades of yellow, complemented by patterned soft furnishings in warm colours. All rooms have minibars, televisions, dial up Internet ports and bathrooms with showers.
Expert Tip. Palermo is often overlooked by tourists, but its centre is rich in history. The 12th century Palatine Chapel, built by the Normans, features Byzantine and Islamic style mosaics. Another good example of two cultures coming together, the Church of St John of the Hermits was designed to resemble a red domed mosque. With more than 70,000 square feet of mosaics and 24 carat gold, Monreale's cathedral is arguably even more spectacular.

From Palermo Airport (PMO):
Distance to Hotel Bel3 is 30 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available at the airport and cost approximately 40 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Palermo city centre is compact and best explored on foot. The city and the surrounding areas are served by a network of buses. A car is recommended for exploring more of Sicily.
