Location. Housed in a 17th century mansion, the Room Mate Migueletes is a renovated, traditional Andalusian property located in the Albayzin area, declared a heritage site by UNESCO. The Alhambra and Granada's cathedral are both within 500 metres of the hotel, and Granada Airport is situated 14 kilometres away, approximately half an hour by car.

Hotel Features.The hotel provides a 24 hour front desk with a multilingual concierge service to book excursions, flamenco dances and restaurant reservations, and offers a traditional Andalusian patio, a meeting room and dry cleaning facilities. There is also parking nearby for those arriving by car.

Guestrooms. The 25 guestrooms, over three floors, feature modern, rustic decor with wooden beamed ceilings, handmade headboards and crisp, white linen. All include air conditioning, wireless Internet access, satellite television, direct dial phones, minibars and safes. Marble bathrooms have Granadian tiling, bathrobes and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Sacromonte Abbey, located 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, was founded in 1600 and is built over Roman catacombs. The Abbey is the site for the Festival of San Cecilio, celebrated on the 1st February in honour of the city's first bishop and Granada's patron saint.

PARKING:
As the hotel is located in the old part of Granada, private traffic is not allowed. Cars should be parked and guests can arrive to the hotel by taxi.
When entering the ring road that sourrounds Granada, take exit 131 "Granada, Parque de las Ciencias, Palacio de Congresos, Armilla" and follow signs to "Centro Parque de las Ciencias".
You will pass a round a bout where there is a lamp shop called Hiperluz, and another where the Parque de las Ciencias is. Keep going toward "Sierra Nevada Centro", going through a tunnel.
You will pass the Palacio de Congresos, which is a green marble building on your right hand side, and follow signs to "Centro Alhambra".
Go straight, cross the river over the bridge and keep following signs to "Centro".
You will then pass a big commercial center on your right (El Corte Ingl�s) and just after it, at the traffic lights, a bit on your right, there is a square and underneath, there is a parking which is called Parking Plaza Puerta Real, where the hotel has a special rate for guests.
The lift that takes you up to the square is indicated with the handicapped sign. Take a taxi to the hotel (tell the driver that the hotel is at the end of Plaza Nueva square) Pay him, ask for a receipt and the hotel will deduct it from your hotel invoice. The hotel will only pay for the taxi if you are arriving to Granada by car, not by train, bus or plane.
