The Hotel Sol Tenerife is a modern property set in the centre of Playa de las Americas, 500 metres from the golf course and 30 kilometres from the National Park. The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring the surrounding area; the Costa Adeje Golf Course is two kilometres away, Aguilas del Teide Ecological Park is eight kilometres away, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife is at an 80 kilometre distance. Tenerife Reina Sofia South Airport is an approximate driving time of 15 minutes from the hotel, a distance of 15 kilometres.

Taxis are available outside Arrivals, and charge around 50 EUR to Santa Cruz de Tenerife or around 20 EUR to Playa de las Am�ricas. Buses leave regularly from the airport to the central bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at La Avenida Mar�tima, North Tenerife Airport (for inter island flights), Los Cristianos and other destinations on the island. Taxis on the island are relatively cheap, and there is also a bus network that services most of the main site of interest.
