The Sol Principe is a large sea facing property set on Torremolinos Promenade, across road from sandy beaches and 12 kilometres from Malaga. The hotel's 629 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in light colours with bright fabrics and open out onto balconies with sea views. All offer satellite television, direct dial phones, safes, and hairdryers.
Guests can make use of the hotel's three outdoor swimming pools, enjoy a picnic in the gardens or practise their serve on the tennis courts; two poolside bars are also open for refreshments during the summer months. Those with business needs benefit from use of a large meeting room and wireless Internet access in the lobby. The hotel also houses a supermarket, a souvenir shop, a newsagent, and a hair salon. The airport is located six kilometres west of Malaga. Trains to Malaga, Fuengirola and Torremolinos leave the airport every 30 minutes. Bus services to Malaga depart from outside the International arrivals terminal. Taxis are also available at the airport and cost 14 EUR. The best way around the local area is on foot, by bicycle, scooter or car.
